A generic summary can capture what was said without becoming the document you need. An audiologic evaluation and a hearing-aid fitting have different emphases, so a useful drafting tool should offer more than one starting format.

The evaluation leads from the hearing concern to the clinician's interpretation and next appointment. The fitting document brings the device, supplied verification account, patient experience, and follow-up together. Asking for the appropriate document gives the drafting step a useful structure.
A recap can start either document
You can dictate the account you would otherwise write after the appointment. The app turns the recording into a transcript and then drafts the chosen document. You can describe the test or verification results in your own account, rather than dictate finished paragraphs.
This is useful when the appointment is complete but the report or fitting note still needs writing. Edit the result and copy it into the patient record alongside the test documents you already keep.

The recording, transcript, and draft stay in encrypted storage on your device. They are not uploaded to Astralcyte, as the privacy policy explains.
