The food history is also a story about daily life
A nutrition consultation can include shopping arrangements, household budgets, working hours, cultural practices, and what the person can realistically prepare. An AI scribe may turn that discussion into a compact ADIME note.
For an existing cloud AI user, the important question is what went to the company before that compact note appeared. If the service works from the conversation, it receives the wider discussion, including details that may never be copied into the chart.
A concise note does not reverse the upload
Imagine a fictional patient who describes a reduced grocery budget, a housemate using the shared food, and a changing work schedule. The dietitian and patient agree on a practical change. A final note might summarize the relevant barriers and the agreed intervention without recording the full household story.
That is useful summarization. But a cloud provider that received the recording still received the budget and housemate discussion. The amount written in the final note is not the amount originally shared with the company.
The same distinction applies if you dictate a recap into an online tool. The recap is more selected than the full consultation, but it remains patient information received by the provider.
Keep ADIME help on your own device
Astralcyte can work from a recording or a dictated recap. It turns speech into text and writes the ADIME draft on your device. The assessment, nutrition diagnosis, intervention, and monitoring information you supply can be arranged into the note without going to an online AI service.
Edit the draft and copy it into your patient record. The convenience is still a first draft rather than a blank field. The location of the writing step changes who receives the history.
Protect the wider discussion too
Astralcyte's privacy policy covers recordings, transcripts, and notes. They stay in encrypted storage and are not sent to the company.
Its servers cannot leak the food history or household discussion because they never receive them. The benefit covers the information left out of the final ADIME note as well as the note itself.
